What is H.O.P.E.?
H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Everyday) is a group of concerned parishioners who are willing to volunteer to help others. We serve all parishioners of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. H.O.P.E is active in over thirty parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
What H.O.P.E. Volunteers Do:
–Share time and visit with shut-ins
–Drive to medical appointments, no more than 30 minutes away and not after 3:00pm
–Do grocery shopping, pharmacy pickup, and delivery
–Prepare meals on an emergency basis
–Take people to Mass on a Saturday or Sunday one day per month
What H.O.P.E. Volunteers Cannot Do:
–Transport minors or those in wheelchairs
–Provide emergency transportation
–Personal care (feeding, bathing, house cleaning)
–Short notice service
